Dr. Akash Agarwal is a highly respected neurosurgeon, experienced in endovascular, spinal, and general neurosurgery. A former assistant professor of neurosurgery, he will be site director of the AHN Neurosurgery residency program at Forbes.

He is skilled in Gamma Knife® surgery and kyphoplasty (surgery for vertebra fractures in the spine). He also evaluates and treats patients with brain tumors, cerebral aneurysms, herniated discs, strokes, and trigeminal neuralgia.

Dr. Agarwal received a medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, and completed a residency at Penn State Medical Center at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. There, he also gained further training through fellowships in endovascular and interventional neuroradiology. He is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.

His goal is to provide excellent, comprehensive, and compassionate care to patients of all ages. He speaks Spanish, Hindi, and English.
