Dr. Brian Michael Thomas is a medical oncologist and hematologist passionate about clinical medicine, healthcare delivery, and public policy. He has led efforts within the AHN Cancer Institute to deliver quality cancer care through streamlining of chemotherapy infusions and early integration of supportive care.

He currently serves as the Assistant Director of Operations responsible for physician productivity and value-based care. Dr. Thomas completed his fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas as well as his residency in Internal Medicine with the Osler Medical Housestaff Training Program at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Thomas participated in M.D. Anderson’s Comprehensive Cancer Control Program and the Texas Medical Association’s Committee on Cancer. During his residency training, he served as President of The Maryland State Medical Society Resident and Fellow Section.

He speaks English and sees patients of all ages.
