Deep Shah, MD
Dr. Deep Shah is a Hematologist at AHN Cancer Institute specializing in the field of classical/non-malignant hematology. With a keen interest in a wide range of hematological disorders, Dr. Shah specializes in thrombotic and hemorrhagic conditions, hemoglobin disorders such as anemia, thrombocytopenia, and disorders of iron metabolism amongst others.
He earned his medical degree from Padmashree Dr. DY Patil Medical College in Navi Mumbai, India, before completing his residency in internal medicine at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, New York. He completed a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he also served as the chief fellow. Dr. Shah holds memberships in the American Society of Hematology, the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Research Society, and the International Society on Thrombosis and Hemostasis. Additionally, he serves as the Associate Program Director for the Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Program at Allegheny Health Network. Dr Shah sees patients aged 18 and older.
