Dr. Vassiliev is a specialist in pain medicine with expertise in CRPS I and II, chronic abdominal pain, chronic pain relief, epidural steroid injection, facet injection, intractable pain, low back pain, malignant pain, medication management, myofascial pain, neck pain, neuralgia, neuropathic pain, neuropathy, pain relief, post laminectomy syndrome, radiculopathy, radiofrequency rhizotomy, rheumatoid arthritis pain, SIJ pain, sciatica, somatic pain, spinal cord stimulation or spinal cord stimulator, and transforaminal steroid injections.

Dr. Vassiliev attended Moscow State Medical University, completed fellowships at Cleveland Clinic and West Penn Hospital, completed his residencies at SUNY Upstate Medical University and West Penn Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
