Lyn Weinberg, MD
Lyn Weinberg, MD, is a geriatrician and the Director of the Division of Geriatrics, specializing in comprehensive care for older adults. She has a special clinical interest in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, delirium management and prevention, frailty, polypharmacy, and providing support for caregivers. Dr. Weinberg also focuses on healthy aging and preventive care, offering comprehensive geriatric assessments and memory disorder evaluations.
Dr. Weinberg earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital and a fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dr. Weinberg is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Geriatric Medicine and Internal Medicine. She values a holistic approach to geriatric care, incorporating the “4Ms” framework of age-friendly health care, which emphasizes mentation, mobility, medications, and “what matters” most to the patient. Dr. Weinberg welcomes patients ages 65 and older.
