Matthew Abourezk, MD

Matthew Abourezk, MD, is a trauma surgeon with AHN Surgery Institute, specializing in performing emergency surgery on patients with critical injuries or illness. He provides patient-centered care with an emphasis on professional ethical, and evidence-based care, to provide the best outcome for each individual patient.

He went to medical school at Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Abourezk did his residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and his fellowship in surgical critical care at University of Florida Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.

Dr. Abourezk is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is affiliated with the American College of Surgeons and the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma. He sees patients ages 18 and older.
