Nicholas Cheronis, MD
Nicholas Cheronis, MD, specializes in infectious disease and critical care medicine with a focus on antimicrobial stewardship in intensive care units and the treatment of culture-negative sepsis and septic shock. Dr. Cheronis is dedicated to providing holistic, patient-centered care to critically ill patients.
Dr. Cheronis earned his Master of Public Health and Doctor of Medicine degrees at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. His internal medicine residency was completed at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He further specialized through a fellowship in infectious disease and critical care at AHN Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Cheronis is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Internal Medicine in Infectious Disease, and the American Board of Internal Medicine in Critical Care Medicine. He welcomes patients ages 18 and older.
