Dr. Prerna Mewawalla is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist with specialized expertise in plasma cell disorders like multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, stem cell transplantation, and cellular therapy. She serves as the Medical Director of Apheresis and practices within the Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy at Allegheny Health Network (AHN). She is also an Associate Professor at Drexel University College of Medicine.

Dr. Mewawalla provides advanced, personalized care for patients with multiple myeloma, AL amyloidosis, and other blood cancers. She is actively involved in clinical trials and serves as a principal investigator on several studies focused on cutting-edge treatments and novel therapies.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Mewawalla holds several leadership roles. She is a member of the Cancer Executive Committee and chair of the Women Physician's ERG. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Allegheny County Medical Society and the Pennsylvania Medical Society House of Delegates.
