Salman Fazal, MD

Salman Fazal, MD, is the Director of Cell Transplantation in the Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy at the AHN Cancer Institute. He is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Temple University School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his internal medicine residency at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois. He subsequently served as chief resident at Griffin Hospital/Yale University. He then completed his fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was named Chief Fellow in his final year of fellowship. He was awarded Teaching Faculty of the Year for 2018-19 in the fellowship program. Dr. Fazal holds board certifications in hematology and oncology from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
