Shannon is a certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) who specializes in neurology and has a clinical interest in movement disorders. She is skilled in deep brain stimulation (DBS) therapy for the management of Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and dystonia.

Shannon earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a Master of Science in nursing from Youngstown State University in Ohio. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Neurology, Movement Disorder Society, and Pittsburgh Young Professionals Organization.

Shannon’s philosophy to care is one of respect, empathy, and a positive attitude with a focus on best patient care outcomes. She sees patients 18 and older.
